Cross-Cultural Mission Trip Opportunity
to Japan - May 2008

Service Opportunity: This Prayer and Cultural Education (PACE) opportunity is designed to familiarize team members with evangelistic ministries and cultural effects on evangelism in Japan. Through participation in ministry with Covenant missionaries and visits to historic, cultural centers, team members will learn how to pray more effectively for the spread of the gospel in Japan. A layover in Hawaii will allow for a visit to Wellspring Covenant Church on Mother's Day.

The focus areas of the trip will be visiting various locations where Covenant missionaries are involved in evangelism, praying for the work, assisting the various missionaries in various outreach projects, as well as having opportunities to interact with Japanese people in those areas.

Dates: May 10-19, 2008

Group Total: 8 women who are passionate about prayer or eager to grow in this area.

Team Leaders:
Pauline Carlson, career missionary to Japan for 24 years.
Toni Schwabe, Director of Women Ministries for the Northwest Conference, and former short term missionary to Japan.

Cost:
$1,000 (includes on site expenses and handling fees)
$1,300 (Approximately) airfare to Japan
