Project 2008
Establishing “Living
Out Our Mission” Project Grants Fund is the
goal of our 2008 Conference Project. But the thing about being
able to offer grants is that you have to have funds available
to do so!
Through the generous support of the women of our churches these
are the kinds of projects we can accomplish together: (Below
is the statement from our Project Application form)
“In the name of Jesus Christ, Project Living Out Our Mission
is designed to help outreach or care ministries developed by
women ministries of our local Covenant churches. Project categories
could include but are not limited to the following: Shelter/Housing,
Hunger, Reconciliation, Prison Ministries, Child Care, Family
Life Skills and Evangelism. The seed money distributed will
be based on the merit of the program, the number of people affected,
the impact, etc. Any project receiving funds must exhibit sufficient
financial commitment and support from the sponsoring Women Ministries
group/church.”
Our Conference Women Ministries Board will review applications
and distribute the seed money based on the criteria described
above and as funds are available for distribution.
But first things first, your WMMC Board will establish this
Designated Fund through the generosity of your contributions.
Together we can accomplish more than we think or imagine!
