Bandages:
· Roll bandages from used sheets (both colored and white). Materials should be lightweight, smooth, soft and absorbent. Old cotton,  linen or polyester perma-press sheets, pillowcases and tablecloths with no holes, patches or stains are recommended. Avoid flannel however, which is too bulky and difficult to rip. Check with hotels or hospitals for possible supply of sheets.
· Remove all hems and selvedges: Tear lengthwise into strips 2” to 5” wide. Strips of the same width should be sewn together to make bandages from 3 yards to 5 yards long. To do this sew end to end with the ends overlapping 1”. Use small running stitches or machine sew. Joined ends should not have any folds for tucks.
· Roll as tightly as possible. Finished rolls can be fastened with safety pins, rubber bands, string or selvedge. Pack bandage rolls of the same with together in a plastic bag.
