| Ellen Haworth
Jay and Ellen Haworth serve as missionaries in Japan under the Department of World Mission of the Evangelical Covenant Church. The Haworth family lives in Kiyose and continues their church planting ministry at Kuki Grace Church. Ellen serves on the Board of Directors of the Christian Academy in Japan as well as leads a Bible study for women at Kuki. Several of these women became Christians last year. These relationships provide the opportunity for Ellen to share her faith and reach out to even more women in the community. Ellen has found that personal evangelism through hospitality continues to be an effective way to share the Gospel in Japan. Ellen’s birthday is March 1st.
